Kent- Known as the garden of England is perhaps the most beautiful of English counties, with rolling hills, orchards and ancient villages.

Thursday

We travel South to Kent with a comfort stop in the Cathedral City of Cambridge, Explore quaint passages set around the historic market place and colleges, where a unique and relaxing shopping experience can be found. Here a blend of independent shops is mingled with high street brands to cater for any style. You should arrive at your hotel with plenty of time to settle in before your evening meal.

Friday

Today we travel from our hotel to Goodnestone Park Gardens, Visitors to Goodnestone are always surprised to discover such a haven of beautiful tranquillity hidden away in south-east Kent. The gardens have many centuries of history behind them and have been created by generations of the FitzWalter family who have lived here since they built the house. The gardens have been brought to their present level of acclaimed quality during the last forty years. Then time permitting a visit to Canterbury, Full of breathtaking heritage and culture. Canterbury is simply inspirational.

Saturday

This morning we travel just down the road for a visit to Leeds Castle, Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England's medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon; a Jacobean country house; a Georgian mansion; an elegant early 20th century retreat for the influential and famous; and in the 21st century, it has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain. Time permitting a visit to Rochester, This area is where Dickens' life started and ended; the places that pop up in his books still sit among its characterful streets, shops and ancient buildings today.

Sunday

After breakfast we visit Chapel Down Winery, Set amongst 22 acres of vineyards, recognised as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', the Chapel Down winery has excellent facilities for visitors including a high quality restaurant and a shop stocking a variety of local produce. We have arranged a guided tour including a wine tasting (We hope you are over 18?). This afternoon a visit to Rye, Perched on a hill, the medieval town of Rye is the sort of place you thought existed only in your imagination. Almost suspended in time, Rye's unhurried atmosphere and enchanting streets draw visitors with their warm welcome. It's small enough to make you feel at home almost straight away but holds enough secret treasures to entice you to stay much longer. You'll find quality independent retailers not seen in anonymous malls. Luxury products, antiques, books, records and artisan goods are Rye's speciality. Art and photography galleries are evidence of a flourishing creative community.

Monday

We depart the hotel for our return journey to Lincolnshire, with comfort stops enroute.
