Coach Holiday to Cornwall including the Eden Project
Relax and recharge at the Rosemundy House Hotel, situated in the quaint Cornish coastal village of St Agnes. We travel South to St Agnes, with comfort stops on the way, you should arrive at the hotel with plenty of time to relax and settle in before your evening meal.
After breakfast we board the coach for a scenic drive to Lands End at the most south-westerley point of mainland Great Britain, Stroll along family-friendly paths above cliffs carved out by the waves of the mighty Atlantic Ocean. Find yourself in the company of soaring seabirds and, if you're lucky, the coast's resident basking sharks, seals and dolphins may put in an appearance. Then on to St Ives, St Ives is a seemingly subtropical oasis where the beaches are golden, the vegetation is lush and the light piercingly bright.
Today we travel just up the coast to Newquay, where we have included a visit to the Zoo, Newquay Zoo is one of Cornwall's leading visitor attractions and as a charity your visit will support the vital conservation projects both at the Zoo and around the world, working to save animals from extinction. The rest of the day is to be spent at leisure in Newquay to enjoy the attractions and beaches this resort has to offer.
We have put today aside for you to enjoy St Agnes at your leisure, St Agnes is a picturesque village on the north coast of Cornwall. Steeped in mining history, the village retains a traditional friendly Cornish atmosphere, with four different beaches. There are dramatic coastal walks and breathtaking scenery filled with relics from the past, including the iconic Wheal Coates engine house, as well as friendly hotels serving good food in a warm atmosphere. You will discover a thriving community with a choice of shops as well as galleries and craft workshops where beautiful gifts are made by hand. Sample the beautiful scenic coastline, fantastic beaches, arts and craft shops and mining heritage
Today we have included a visit to the Eden Project, With a worldwide reputation, and recognised by the British Travel Awards as the Best UK Leisure Attraction 5 years running (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015), Eden barely needs an introduction, but this epic destination definitely deserves a day of your undivided attention. More than just a huge, tropical garden, Eden is a gateway into the relationships between plants and people, and a fascinating insight into the story of mankind's dependence on plant life. Not only a mind-blowing visitor attraction, Eden is also fast-becoming a unique resource for education and knowledge towards a sustainable future.
We bid a fond farewell to our hosts and travel back to Lincolnshire, with comfort stops enroute.
