Cumbernauld is one of Scotland's best-known New Towns and was created in the 1950s as a population overspill for Glasgow. Cumbernauld's town centre was regenerated in the 1990s and includes what is now accepted as Britain's first shopping centre and the world's first multi-level covered town centre. This has since been expanded with the addition of the Antonine Shopping Centre, providing a large variety of shops. The town has a wide selection of eateries.

Board the coach this morning for a scenic tour of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond, the National Park boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the world, From breathtaking mountains and glens, to the vast tranquil beauty of the Lochs. This afternoon will be spent at leisure in Stirling. Boasting a castle, this old town was once residence of Scottish Kings.


Today will be spent at leisure in Scotland's historic capital city of Edinburgh, with its imposing Castle, Royal Mile, Prince Street and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official Scottish residence of the Queen. Why not taken a visit on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, the Royal Family's former floating royal residence. This afternoon travel to Queensferry to enjoy a round trip cruising, taking in the incredible sights of the Firth of Forth.


Bid a final Scottish farewell to your hosts, before embarking on your journey back to Lincolnshire.
