Coach holiday to Ireland

A fine tour to the North of Ireland, combining the beautiful scenery of the Inishowen Peninsula, the walled city of Derry and a visit to the Giants Causeway Visitor Centre accessed by a classic coastal rail journey.


Depart your hotel for your journey to the Kinmel Hotel, Abergele. This is a 3* hotel situated in a rural location providing the ideal base for your early morning ferry from Holyhead. Your evening meal has been included this evening, be sure to get an early night in preparation for tomorrows continued travel. Whilst the hotel does not offer ground floor rooms, all rooms are accessible by a lift.


An early morning start takes you from your overnight hotel to Holyhead, where you will board the ferry to Dublin. A leisurely buffet breakfast has been included on the ferry. Depart Dublin for the final leg of the journey to Buncrana, where you will be based for the next 3 nights.


Feeling refreshed, your guide will meet you at your hotel this morning, for a morning tour to Malin Head, the northernmost point in Ireland on board the coach. Following this, a guided walking tour of Derry will allow you to see the magnificent Walls and Peace Bridge.


Spend a day exploring Donegal, beginning with a trip through the Glenveagh National Park under the shadow of the imposing mount Errigal. Time at leisure will be given before making your way back to the hotel, for more traditional Irish food, and maybe even treat yourself to a Guinness or two.


Bid farewell to your hosts ready to embark on your journey to Belfast. Before we say goodbye completely, a train journey from Derry to Coleraine has been included this morning. The track runs alongside beautiful beaches, through Irelands longest railway tunnels and past historic landmarks. The Giants causeway visitor centre is also a short drive away and included in your tour. This evening, settle into your overnight hotel in Belfast, The 4 star Stormont Hotel.


A full Irish breakfast will be served before making your final journey on the morning ferry from Larne, you will arrive in Cairnryan in time for lunch, before completing the final leg of the journey back home in Lincolnshire.
