The Cotswolds is a rural area of south central England covering parts of 6 counties, notably Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Its rolling hills and grassland harbour thatched medieval villages, churches and stately homes built of distinctive local yellow limestone. Thursday

Depart Lincolnshire for your journey to Swindon. Comfort stops will be taken along the way. Don't forget to pack your costume, and perhaps make use of the leisure facilities this evening time allowing.

Friday

A full day excursion awaits, board the coach for your first port of call Bath. Steeped in history enjoy a leisurely stroll before re boarding the coach for your next port of call Bristol. Bristol is the city of bridges, balloons, boats, bikes, Brunel and Banksy. You can take a leisurely stroll around the Regency streets of Clifton Village and peruse its posh boutiques. You can head to Bristol Shopping Quarter and flit between High Street staples and one-off wonders. Or if retro and vintage tickle your fancy, you can explore the alternative shops of Stokes Croft and Gloucester Road – the latter boasts Europe's longest street of independent shops.

Saturday

Today you will enjoy a round trip from Oxford along the River Thames on a 40 minute cruise to Iffley Lock and back. The crew will point out areas of interest along the route. Free time at leisure will be spent in the historic city of Oxford. Whether you want to discover an ancient civilisation at a world famous museum, wander around some of the most famous landmarks in the UK or relax with an afternoon tea, you will find something to do for all occasions and all members of the family.

Sunday

Step back in time as you embark upon a 2 hour cruise of Kennet & Avon onboard one of the only 4 horse drawn boats in the country. As you watch the world go by you will be treated to a sumptuous afternoon tea comprising of a locally baked scone, jam, cream, cake, tea and coffee.

Monday

Depart your hotel for your journey back to Lincolnshire. Comfort stops will be taken en route, with a stop to be made in the Cathedral city of Peterborough.
