Enjoy a scenic drive through the Pembrokeshire National Park, offering stunning views before arriving in Cardigan, the gateway to the Teifi Valley and the Ceredigion Coastal Path. The ancient town sits on the estuary of the River Teifi at the base of Cardigan Bay.
After breakfast visit Aberglasney house and gardens, set in the beautiful Tywi Valley, once a turbulent place during the middle ages. The dramatic ruined castles punctuating the valley are a reminder of those times, and the Aberglasney property was at the centre of many of the ensuing battles. Enjoy free time in Camarthen before journeying back to your hotel.
Today a visit to Pembroke Castle has been included. Set prominently on the banks of the River Estuary and once the seat of a succession of Major Barons Explore the Labrynth of passageways and Towers, take in the views of the 75ft high Great Keep, descend into Wogan Cavern and perhaps enjoy lunch in the cafe, return back to Tenby this afternoon for time at leisure.
