Unmissable on the Cromer skyline is the 160ft tower of 14th century church St Peter & Paul with vast stained glass windows commemorating Cromer's lifeboat crew, the most decorated in RNLI history. There's also a museum named after Henry Blogg, who served for 53 years on Cromer's lifeboats, who, with his crew, saved over 873 lives from the North Sea. A leisurely departure begins your holiday to Cromer, we will stop in Hunstanton on the way and arrive in plenty of time to settle in before your evening meal.


Today we have put aside for you to explore your resort. In Cromer you will find a vibrant Norfolk town with a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, shops and accommodation, all independently owned and many passed down through the ages from parents to children. For shopaholics, in addition to traditional seaside shops selling buckets and spades and seaside gifts, they have a selection of local art galleries, homeware stores, ladies & gents fashion and fashion accessories shops. They have food stores with local produce including several fish shops featuring the famous Cromer crab and other privately owned stores including those specialising in assorted arts and crafts including baking and knitting.


Today we travel to Bury st Edmunds for market day, Not only is there a wonderful array of foods you can also find everything from authentic Italian shirts, Portuguese pottery, vintage clothes and colourful plants and flowers. Foodies will also love the market with its wonderful selection of food and drink from around the world.


After breakfast we travel to Norwich, As one of the largest and oldest open-air markets in the country, its rich heritage and traditional appearance is sure to charm you. Browse through the stalls and you will find a fantastic range of goods and services; whether you're after clothes, children's toys, jewellery, household goods, flowers, keys cut or shoes mended, the market has it all! Stalls also sell a delicious range of quality local food including meat and fish, freshly baked bread, jam and chutneys plus a wide range of cheeses. For some tasty lunch on the go enjoy fish & chips, sandwiches, ice cream, sweets or a hog roast plus many more tasty offerings.


We depart the hotel for our return journey to Lincolnshire, with a stop at Downham Market to end our market themed holiday, On the banks of the River Great Ouse, and dating back to Saxon times, Downham Market is one of Norfolk's oldest market towns. The attractive market place is immediately identifiable by the splendidly unusual and majestic black and white clock. The town retains a really intimate feel, characterised by many fine historic buildings.
