Step out of the hotel and turn right onto the sweeping promenade which provides an excellent sea view walk right across the bay. Llandudno has been a long-time favourite for our passengers with a relaxing and scenic atmosphere, when required, or you can walk just down the road to the bustling main street full of high street stores we all know and love. With cafes and restaurants to tease the tastebuds, all on the flat for those who have difficulty with hills. However, if you turn left leaving the hotel then The Great Orme is a challenge to climb, or a short tram ride if you want to get to the top and experience the views. Hang on to your hats!

Monday 2nd

Your holiday begins at your doorstep where our team of drivers will pick you up and take you to meet the main coach. Travel on to Llandudno with a stop on the way. You should arrive at the hotel with time to settle in and take in the stunning scenery before your evening meal.

Tuesday 3rd

After breakfast we travel to the foot of Snowdon to meet the Mountain Railway. This delightful little diesel train takes you high into the clouds to the visitor centre 1,085m above sea level, where there will be a short stop before the return journey. The whole train experience is about 2.5 hours which includes the 30 minute stop at the summit. For those who do not wish to join the train there will be free time to visit Llanberis. The driver will take you on a scenic tour of the area before arriving back at the hotel in time for your evening of entertainment as arranged by the hotel.

Wednesday 4th

Today, a visit to Llangollen to meet the serene Horse Drawn Canal Boat. This is the perfect activity whatever the weather, as the modern purpose-built boats have both inside and outside seating areas. The trip is just long enough to allow you to relax and unwind, making it perfect as a gentle start or soothing end to your day, or as a moment of peace in the middle of a hectic one. Experience for yourself the pace of life in "the olden days" whilst gazing out at one of the most beautiful canals in Britain, and admire the strength of the gorgeous horses as they easily pull your boat through the water. Suitably relaxed your driver will then meet you for a journey to experience the Horseshoe Pass. This road was voted the third best road to drive in Britain so sit back and relax whilst your driver does all the work. The coach will experience hard bends, steep hills and travel at the side of large ravines cut into the hillside by ancient erosion caused by ice moving through the landscape.

Thursday 5th

Back by popular demand is a visit to Portmeirion. This quirky attraction has history and interesting stories in each part. Maybe visit the Triumphal Arch in Salutation Square, there are two main paths into Y Gwyllt Woodlands. Featuring 70 acres of woodland and 20 miles of walking paths, the Woodland is home to hidden treasures including the Dog Cemetery, Ghost Garden, Tangle Wood and the Chinese Lake. Guests can enjoy a breath-taking view of the village and estuary from the Gazebo, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis to mark the centenary of Clough's birth.

Friday 6th

Today is free for you to explore your resort.

Saturday 7th

After breakfast join us for a ride over to Anglesey where we have included a Puffin Cruise. during your leisurely 80 minutes you'll take in some wonderful scenery and landmarks including Penmon Lighthouse and you'll also spot plenty of wildlife. Puffin Island is a bird sanctuary and a nesting site for many species of breeding seabirds, there's also a resident colony of Atlantic Grey Seals. You may even be lucky enough to encounter porpoise, sometimes even dolphin. This afternoon there will be free time to explore the seaside town of Beaumaris. You could stroll along the seafront, taking in the pier and the views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia then continue through the charming streets with their picturesque cottages, many painted in soft pastel colours. All overshadowed by the magnificent castle. Beaumaris also has a good mix of shops and cafes for you to enjoy. This evening a night of entertainment has been arranged by the hotel.

Sunday 8th

This morning, please join the coach for a journey to Caenarfon. Caernarfon is home to Wales’ most famous castle and an UNESCO World Heritage Site . After lunch we will take you to Porthmadog, A harbour town situated on the Glaslyn Estuary, Porthmadog is rich in maritime history with a number craft shops and restaurants. The town was named after W.A. Maddocks whose ambitious "Cob" embankment scheme led to the town's name, which translates as "Madog's Port". In times gone by, it was a vital, busy shipping port for the international slate trade, brought down from Blaenau Ffestiniog. The maritime history depicts its proud past.

Monday 9th

Sadly, today is the day to say goodbye to your hosts and travel back to Lincolnshire. Your driver will arrange comfort stops on the way.
