A chance to spend some time and explore all Windsor has to offer, whilst staying at the four star Castle Hotel, which is one of the most beautiful Georgian buildings set in the heart of Windsor

With its world-famous Castle and superb Thameside location, Windsor has a rich mix of history, culture, heritage and fun.

Sunday

With an early departure we travel down to Windsor, with a comfort stop en-route, you will be free to explore this beautiful area, maybe take a visit to the world famous Windsor Castle, which is one of the largest and oldest occupied castles in the world, you never know her majesty may even be in residence. Check the flag flying from the Castle's round tower. Maybe visit Windsor's Guildhall, an historic building in its own right situated close Windsor Castle or just explore all Windsor has to offer before your three course evening meal followed by tea and coffee at the beautiful Castle Hotel.

Monday

After a hearty breakfast you will have a full day at leisure, maybe visit the independent shops and boutiques or take a stroll to the Royal Shopping Centre, a converted grade 2 listed Victorian Railway Station with many original features. We will depart Windsor at approximatley 4pm returning back to Alford for approximately 8.30pm (traffic depending)

Immerse yourself in history in a unique location. Castle Hotel Windsor is an elegant Georgian building with a rich past and an enviable address: directly opposite Windsor Castle. Walk through the doors and walk back in time, as you discover fascinating authentic features and lovingly restored décor, before you retire to your gloriously relaxing room. The town's cobbled streets offer much to explore, and you'll have the best view possible for the pomp and grandeur of the Changing of the Guard.
