Monday

Join us for a trip to the South Coast. Your friendly driver will ensure comfort stops are taken along the way and you will arrive at your resort with time to relax before your evening meal.

Tuesday

Today, after breakfast you can visit the open air Weald and Downland Museum, Home of the popular TV series The Repair Shop. Come and discover traditional buildings in a rural landscape, which tell the stories of the people who lived and worked in them over a 1,000-year period. Explore the Museum's 40-acre site and visit some of the 50 exhibit buildings - many of our exhibit houses are furnished to recreate historic domestic interiors. (please note, The film set may not be open for visitors due to restrictions)

Wednesday

Arundel Castle is our destination for today. We have included entrance to the Keep and the Gardens. There are nearly 1,000 years of history at this great castle, situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun in West Sussex and built at the end of the 11th century by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Arundel. There are beautiful award winning Tropical & English Gardens, the quirky Stumpery and the abundant Kitchen Garden. Warm Glasshouses with chillis, grapes and lemons. Immerse yourself in the fragrance of the Rose Garden and enjoy the tranquility of the Fitzalan Chapel's White Garden.

Thursday

This morning we depart the hotel to meet the boat for a cruise. Fully restored, the Wey and Arun Canal would rate among the most scenic in the country. Trip boats cruise along the idyllic Loxwood section on the Surrey/West Sussex border. The electrically powered boat Wiggonholt, which is wider than a conventional narrowboat and can accommodate up to 50 passengers, has an access lift for passengers with mobility difficulties. Light refreshments are available for purchase, or picnics may be brought on board the boats. This afternoon we have included a free flow visit of Parham House and Gardens. The gardens consist of beautiful Pleasure Grounds and a four-acre Walled Garden. There are stunning herbaceous borders, a glasshouse, vegetable garden, orchard and a 1920s Wendy House. Parham is one of the country's finest Elizabethan Houses, complete with a Great Hall and Long Gallery. Its tranquillity and timeless beauty have changed little over the centuries.

Friday

We sadly say farewell to or hosts and travel back to Lincolnshire with comfort stops on the way.
