We travel South to Worthing with comfort stops enroute, we will arrive in plenty of time to settle in before your evening meal.


Today we visit Arundel Castle, this free flow visit will give you time explore this elegant Castle, Enjoy the grandeur of the finely preserved interior with its fascinating furniture, tapestries and rare collection of paintings by renowned artists including Van Dyck, Gainsborough and Canaletto. Stroll through the tranquil grounds where you will discover different themed gardens. We have also included a visit to the museum across the way, You can learn more about the history of the castle and town at award winning, Arundel Museum. Discover how millions of years ago, Arundel was covered by a warm Cretaceous sea and meet the creatures that thrived in it. Meet Homo heidelbergensis, who, 500,000 years ago lived in the area, and the neanderthals who hunted mammoths in Palaeolithic Arundel..


After a filling breakfast today has been set aside for you to enjoy your resort. Worthing is a traditional seaside town with a twist. This is a place full of surprises - a wide open prom allows space to breathe, to run, to cycle, an endless horizon frames the beach and, of course, don't miss the famous pier. The Worthing of today is a happy collision of classic and contemporary; where else can you hop off your paddle board and into one of the oldest working cinemas in the UK, tuck into a traditional cream tea or pop into a micro pub, there's so much to keep you entertained.


Eastbourne is our destination for today. This seaside resort is a great place to experience English life, try the local fish and chips or treat yourself to an afternoon tea in one of the many tea shops around the town. The picturesque seafront would be a lovely place to sit and relax as the autumn colours surround you.


We depart the hotel for our return journey to Lincolnshire, with a comfort stop on the way.
