Monday 5th

We travel West to Shropshire with comfort stops arranged on the way. You will arrive on your resort with time to take in your stunning surroundings before your evening meal. This evening, maybe enjoy a swim in the Grecian style pool or arrange a spa treatment (at an extra cost)..

Tuesday 6th

Today we visit Shrewsbury. We have arranged a Boat trip on the Sabrina along the River Severn. Sit back and relax on this 40-minute cruise, as your skipper provides information about the flora and fauna of the canal. Free time follows in Shrewsbury, home to a Norman castle, an Abbey and The Quarry, which at its heart lies The Dingle, a floral masterpiece designed by the famous gardener Percy Thrower.

Wednesday 7th

After your amazing breakfast, we travel into Ludlow. Today is market day in this Medieval town. There is much more to do in Ludlow than the market, with simple cafes and elegant high-end eateries nestled in amongst the architectural delights. Small shops and high street names line the square and St Laurence's Church looms over the skyline with Ludlow Castle.

Thursday 8th

Join your driver for a trip into Llangollen where your horse-drawn canal trip awaits. Canal boats have been pulled by the horses for the pleasure cruises since 1887 when Captain Samuel Jones arranged day trips into Chirk with refreshments served on board. There will be free time to enjoy the picturesque town of Llangollen before we join the railway. The Llangollen railway give a nostalgic trip through the Dee Valley, and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to Corwen. Each station you pass has its own charm.

Friday 9th

Time to head for home, your driver will arrange comfort stops on the way.
